This 6-credit, multi-level ELL course develops integrated critical reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English through immersion in a selected theme, challenging academic content and campus and/or community-based learning. Students participate in group work and connect the content to their own lives, using language in multiple ways. Students will demonstrate proficiency with incorporating sources to develop ideas with purpose, focus and clarity of language. Depending on the program of study, this course may meet the General Education requirement for Creative Work or General Education Elective. Prerequisite: Placement into Integrated ELL Level I (ELL-101) or Integrated ELL Level II (ELL-102) or Integrated ELL Level III (ELL-103). 2023-09-05 - 2024-05-15
