This course provides an introduction to the appreciation of film as an art form. It covers film techniques, terminology, and criticism, using film from the silent era to the present. Students are exposed to film beyond the American canon, including African American, Asian, Latinx and international works. This course satisfies the College's General Education Requirement for Creative Work.
