This algebra- based introductory physics course covers the principles of physics, using a problem-solving approach. Laws of motion, forces, work and energy, momentum, harmonic motion and elasticity will be covered. This course will relate principles of physics to living systems. Laboratory work will reinforce the understanding of physical concepts and promote the development of problem-solving skills. This course satisfies the physics requirement of the AS Biological Science program. This course does not satisfy the physics requirement of the AA Chemistry or Physics/Engineering concentrations or the physics requirement of the AS Engineering program. Course meets: 3 hrs. lecture; 3 hrs. lab. Prerequisite: Grade of C or higher in Precalculus (MAT-197). 06/06/2022-08/27/2022 Web Based Days to be Announced, Times to be AnnouncedOnline, Room ONLN
